Soft toothbrush or makeup brush : Removes dust and lint without causing damage. A soft brush is ideal for getting loose dust particles out after loosening.
Compressed air (used with caution) : Blows dirt out of the port without making contact. The safest option, use compressed air when cleaning the charging port to minimize damage.
